Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the cleaning service?
We will do everything on the Cleaning Checklist FOUND HERE If you need interior windows cleaned, baseboards hand washed or inside of appliances done, those are billed separately, at a fixed price.

Is the basement included in the quote?
No, we charge separately for basement cleaning. You will have to add it to the cleaning or call the office and tell us you would like to basement to be cleaned.

How many cleaners do you send?
We send 2 people to come clean. If your home is scheduled for later in the day, you may see as many as 4 cleaners at one time. We do this to insure our staff gets off at a decent time. We don’t want to be in your house while you are trying to get dinner ready!

Is there anything I should do before you arrive to clean?
Nice of you to ask – yes, it can help our team members if you pick up or put away any clothes, children’s toys or other items before we arrive. It is also appreciated if you could make sure your pet is safe and in a secure location, out of the way of the cleaner, before our cleaning associates come to clean. Thanks!

When will your cleaning associates arrive to clean?
Our team members clean during the day from 9:00 AM – 5:00PM – each home is assigned a time during the day for cleaning. Our team members do their very best to stick as closely to those start times as possible. However, the arrival time may vary slightly due to things such as traffic, or if our team members find they need to spend a little longer at a home to handle a special request. If you require a definite starting time for our team members, our office would be more than happy to talk about possible solutions such as making your scheduled cleaning the first appointment of the day.

What if I can’t be home when your team members arrive to clean?
No problem, this is very common. That’s why many of our clients decide to provide us with a key and a code if they have an alarm system for their home. All keys are securely marked and controlled to maintain your and security. This arrangement works very well and allows us to access your home to clean at the appropriate day and time. If you do not provide us a key, and you are not home to let our team members in at their scheduled cleaning time, a lock-out charge of $40 may be applied.

What if I need to reschedule or skip my regular cleaning?
Again, no problem! We realize that life gets busy and sometimes things happen requiring you to move things around. We ask that you please let us know at least 48 hrs. In advance, so we can change our team member’s schedules or arrange for an alternative time and date for your cleaning. Failure to do within 48 hours may result in a not home charge of $40.

How do you price your cleaning service? 
Our prices are figured by the room, not by the hour. We add a $19 service fee to every job. The service fee covers the cost of cleaning supplies, cleaning equipment, vehicle cost and drive time. With this pricing we will clean your entire home no matter how long it takes us.

Can I schedule for the amount of time I want?
Sorry, no. Please keep in mind that our quotes include the rooms you selected. We will only clean the rooms that you selected us to do. Doing it this way makes scheduling easier and customers later in the day don’t have to be pushed back because we added more time on to another customer earlier in the day.

Will Blairco send the same team members each visit?
We always try to clean your home using the same Team Leaders each time, unless due to sickness or other emergency, we are unable to do so. We want you to feel confident in our team members and they are eager to get to deliver the best cleaning for your home as quickly as possible. Monthly cleaning services are not guaranteed the same team each visit.

What about holidays or snow days?
We’ll call well in advance of any nationally recognized holidays or when snow is expected, to arrange for a better day and time. Speaking of the holidays, be sure to let us know if you are ever in need of extra cleaning in advance of family get together, dinner or party – we’re here to help.

Guarantee
If after we clean, you notice a mistake, or simply anything you believe does not meet the standards for exceptional quality we promised, just let us know within 24 hrs. and we’ll come out and re-clean the specific areas for free. Our #1 job is getting and keeping you – delighted!

Important Notes:
1.) Payment is required at the time of the cleaning and is considered late if not received within 24 hours of the service. We accept cash, checks or credit or debit cards. 2.) We can put a Credit / Debit Card on file and charge it after your cleaning is done. Print and Fill out the form. CREDIT/DEBIT CARD Authorization Form

3.) For sanitary and safety reasons our teams are not permitted to clean flea infested homes, homes that have bed bugs or pick up animal excrement.

4.) Personnel supplied by Blairco Services are deemed employees of Blairco Services and will not, for any purpose, be considered employees or agents of the customer. Blairco Services is an equal opportunity employer. All necessary employment forms will be maintained by our office as required by law.
